Cal Poly Women's Club Volleyball is powered by a dedicated group of student leaders and advisors who work together behind the scenes to support one of the nation's premier collegiate club volleyball programs. Our board oversees fundraising, budgeting, recruiting, travel coordination, marketing, alumni relations, and day-to-day club operations. Their leadership allows our student-athletes to focus on competing, growing, and representing Cal Poly at the highest level.
Together, our board is committed to creating an unforgettable collegiate experience while continuing the tradition of excellence that defines Mustang Volleyball.
MEET OUR BOARD
Mira Griffin | President
Mira serves as President of Cal Poly Women's Club Volleyball and plays a key role in leading the organization's day-to-day operations. A Statistics major entering her junior year, Mira has been a member of the program's Gold Team since her freshman season, helping the Mustangs compete among the nation's top collegiate club volleyball programs. As an outside hitter, she brings leadership both on and off the court while helping create a positive and competitive culture for all members of the program. Her favorite Cal Poly Club Volleyball memory is competing at Nationals with her teammates last season.
Izzy Hames | Vice President
Izzy serves as Vice President of Cal Poly Women's Club Volleyball, helping oversee club operations and support the continued success of the program. A junior majoring in Kinesiology, Izzy came to Cal Poly from England and has quickly become an important leader both on and off the court. As an outside hitter and utility player she competes at a high level while helping foster the positive, team-first culture that defines Mustang Volleyball. Her favorite club memories are the countless road trips and car rides to tournaments, where lasting friendships are built alongside championship experiences.
Amanda Silber | Secretary
Amanda serves as Secretary for Cal Poly Women's Club Volleyball, helping keep the organization running smoothly through communication, planning, and club operations. A junior majoring in Nutrition, Amanda is a middle blocker who brings energy, reliability, and a team-first mindset to every practice and match. Her favorite club memory is dressing up with her teammates during Nationals, a tradition that reflects the fun, camaraderie, and lasting friendships that make the Cal Poly Club Volleyball experience so special.
Malia Gordon | Treasurer
Malia Gordon serves as Treasurer for Cal Poly Women's Club Volleyball, helping manage the club's finances and supporting the planning that keeps the program running smoothly throughout the season. A sophomore majoring in Business, Malia is a setter who brings organization, leadership, and a steady presence both on and off the court. Her favorite club memory is watching the sunset and swimming with her teammates in Santa Cruz, a moment that perfectly reflects the friendships and unforgettable experiences that make Cal Poly Women's Club Volleyball so special.
Lydia Dobbe | Fundraising
Lydia serves on the Fundraising team for Cal Poly Women's Club Volleyball, helping create opportunities that support the program both on and off the court. A sophomore majoring in Food Science and Agricultural Business, Lydia is an outside hitter who brings energy, enthusiasm, and a team-first mindset to everything she does. Her favorite club memory is Signing Night, where meeting her teammates for the first time marked the beginning of lasting friendships and an unforgettable college volleyball experience.
